What Does Andreios Mean?
Andreios is a Greek word that means "one who is courageous, manly, or strong." It is used in the original Greek texts of the Bible to describe a person who embodies strength and courage.
Mission Statement
We live in a world where cowardice is often celebrated as a virtue. People that remain silent or inactive are celebrated for being tolerant and loving. Our mission is to call believers to reject cowardice and embrace God’s command to be strong and courageous. We seek to fulfill this mission by creating meaningful social media content and clothing that serves as a reminder to be "one who is courageous and strong."
The Command of the Lord
Throughout the generations, the Lord has called His people to be strong and courageous. In the Old Testament, He repeatedly gave the command: “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6). In the New Testament, He urges the church through His apostle to “be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong” (1 Corinthians 16:13).
This command is critical because Christianity requires strength and courage. Without courage, our beliefs and actions become conditional—we may only follow them when they present no danger. We will be like Pontius Pilate who wanted to do the right thing until it became dangerous.
